Sengen shrine (Shibokusa)Sengen shrine (Shibokusa) was founded in 807 (Christian era 807 years). Main hall of covering a roof with cypress bark roof, three ken company wave-style architecture of Shinto shrines is village designated cultural assets. Mikami image of KONOHANASAKUYAHIMENOMIKOTO, TAKAGAI, INUKAI sedentary image is enshrined in main hall. Enshrined deity is KONOHANASAKUYAHIMENOMIKOTO, tentsunichikonichikobanno**geison (amatsuhikohikohononiniginomikoto), Mikami of OOYAMATSUMINOMIKOTO.

Crowd (prefecture designation natural monument) of yew

Crowd of yewHuge tree of yews more than 20 meters in height is doing crowd to surround around main shrine and shrine gate when we enter the precincts. This tree grows wild in Mount Fuji and is said to be because it was made official noshakuga of the office and rank first place in old days by yew when the name called yew was attached. When it is autumn, you soak bright red sweet-sour fruit, but please warn kind as there is poison.

Large zelkova (village designation natural monument)

The precincts of Sengen shrine (Shibokusa) can look at very big zelkova other than yew. As for the height, as for 37 meters, the grass, approximately 10 meters, spread are 23 meters of east and west, north and south approximately 20 meters. We finish dyeing the area with colored leaves which shine with orange when it is autumn.
